Without digital I turn to BNPTV

by liberalleslie @ 05. 08. 07 - 18:51:59

Watching a BNPTV interview with Nick Griffen, shows how bad the TV is doesn’t it, doesn’t help that I don’t have digital; the Muslims must have taken it. To be honest for a Oxbridge graduate he’s particularly uncharismatic and in coherent. He even fails to get me a dirty liberal worked up. I expected to be at least angry at the man for being vile, and full of hate. Perhaps the evil liberal propaganda is beginning to win him over and he’s going soft. I dunno to be honest regardless of his views this man doesn’t have the skill to be the future of politics.

In the effort to give my readers some sort of exclusive news hot of the press I can tell you this, BNPTV is badly filmed and Nick Griffen is fatter than I expected.

The BNP at the mo are holding their festival get together, on pics on the BNP site I saw five people present, on a anti BNP site there was a dog as well.

16/18 yr old Minimum Wage – Been there done that.

by liberalleslie @ 05. 08. 07 - 17:20:06

Apparently there a dark plans afoot to change Lib Dem policy to back out of our commitment to equalise the minimum wage for under 18s. Based on the idea that under 16s are worth less than other 18s.

Having worked both minimum wages I can say that’s tripe, when I left work on day as a 17 year old and came back the next 18 year old adult that I was, my productivity did not improve. The idea that under 18s work is worth less is ridiculous, if it is justified on the matter of skills lets just take a rain check, firms that pay minimum wage, do not require skilled workers. A hours work is a hours work who ever works it.

There is also the point that this would actually be good for adults. If I was a employer I would like the different wage, because then instead of employing a unemployed adult, on state benefit, I could pay less for a 16 year old still living with parents who give him pocket money. The same minimum wage is good for both adults and children.

Lastly, these are the people that party policy tells us should vote, on the account that they pay tax and can join the army, but god forbid they should earn the same wage as a eighteen year old.
